Progreso HispanoSoon to be "Progreso Literacy and Citizenship Center"
Providing the tools for full participation in U.S. society

Student interns at Progreso Hispano have the opportunity to work at the grassroots level with the growing immigrant community in the Mount Vernon area. Interns will gain valuable hands-on work experience and network with others in their field.

Intership Qualifications

• College students majoring in English, social work studies, or paralegal studies.
• High school students in need of volunteer service hours.

Academic Credits

Progreso's Intership coordinator will contact the school or college to complete all required documentation for students to earn credit hours.
